PERSONAL COLLECTION
In the personal collection section, I'll share with you guys about my poem that I wrote for my literature class and also a song that I actually wrote about my life as a student. I also will share about one of my most favorite and meaningful participation of mine back then in secondary school. I also will share a little bit about things that I really proud of and something that I can flex with. All of these have a special place in my heart and I am so happy that I can share it here in my personal website.
THE LAKE
Don’t take me to the lake where
all heart went to die
I don’t belong there
Beautiful tragic and mess
I thought I am the mess that you wanted?
I don’t want to say hello and risk another goodbye
so now,
I’m here,
exile from the lake.
I’m here hunting for your worst side,
But what if I’m right here?
Shoot for kill,
I’m the prey.
The water from the lake filled my lung,
I screamed so loud but no one heard anything,
Hiding the pain but I’m screaming for help,
But some things you can’t just speak about.
I deserve to be there,
Because my heart was breakable by the same hand,
I want to sleep in peace,

In THE LAKE -Rizwan Naim-
This is the poem that I wrote for our literature class. When madam Ain, our beloved literature lecturer asked us to write a poem. I was at the lake at Alam Bina at that time so I just wrote a poem about the lake. I don't know if it is a good poem because she didn't give a mark for it but I like it and it was the first and the only poem that I wrote this year as of now.
ON THE HILL
This is the song that I wrote when I was in Palam. I never show this to anyone. Yes, I love to write songs. I don't know why because it is not like I can sing. But maybe because for me lyrics are like a story. A story to be told and the meaning of every line always have their meaning and reason. So I enjoyed the process of writing a song and this is the song that I wrote, On the hill. This voice note was my first attempt to sing this song back in Palam toilet and you can hear how bad it is.
PROTUN(e) : RM 138,000
If I have to choose one of my past participation when I was in secondary school that deserved to be on my personal website, I will choose the “Program Tunas Niaga” (PROTUNe). It was back then in 2018. I was so excited and thrilled with that program because it's not just like a normal program, it's actually like a competition where we have to handle the kiosk at school. We have to register with “Perbadanan Kemajuan Negeri Selangor” (PKNS), do the financial report. Well, it's actually 10 reports but I can't remember the others. So basically it is also a competition and they have 12 categories. My team sends all the reports so we are qualified to participate in all 12 categories. There is 50 school that involve in this program. Alhamdulilah out of 12 my team manage to win 2 category which is, best presentation and best product. The fact that the presentation category is one of the main categories in the program makes me even proud of myself and my team. I am the leader of the team so probably that's why I am extra happy because all the hard work is paid off. It is not a short program. We started in January and ended it in September. Our kiosk was also the one that gets most profit which is RM 138,000 and our net profit is RM 89,000. It was a fun journey and I also learned so many new things from that program. I am a science stream student, but because of that program, I had a chance to learn accounting and also science computer basic knowledge.
ASTRO GEMPAK: THE OPPORTUNITY
It was crazy when Astro first contacted me last April. At first I was confused how they found me. Apparently it is because of my Instagram filter! I am so excited at that time even though I only need to record a short video of myself explaining words. After SPM, I was working with the Maths Clinic marketing team for the Kajang branch. I edited and recorded a lot of videos. This Astro video was the first video that I had to record after I quit my job in March. I still remember how nervous I am because it was a big deal for me. But alhamdulillah I believe that my video was ok and I was so excited when I first saw my face on television and Astro Gempak's official website.
THE PARTNERSHIP: ADIDAS
No word can describe how shocked I am when I get the offer letter from Adidas Malaysia. I have to be grateful because my friend Alia, was the reason how can they reach out to me. It was a great experience where I have to promote their new product by doing a photo shoot and posted it on social media. I still remember the date of the photoshoot is 2 days before the SPM Bahasa Melayu paper but I still went to the photoshoot because it is a big deal for me. I had so much fun where we did the photoshoot around Kuala Lumpur and I get the chance to see Kuala Lumpur from the rooftop of MyTown shopping center and the view is amazing.
MCKJ: THE MARKETING TEAM
Like I said earlier I was on the Maths Clinic marketing team. Not going to lie but I think my job is the best for a student that just finished their SPM. I was so proud to be recruited in that team because for me it was a lifetime experience. To work with one of the most respected people in nowadays education. Who doesn't know Sir Fathi, Sir Uzairi, and more. I love that everyone in the organization always loves my ideas and they trust me in the editing and also video shooting process. I really enjoyed all of our time working together as a team and I still remember the compliment that they gave me. “ Your work is our standard”. The fact that they said that to a 18 years old boy that is still in the learning process about all these things meant a lot to me. I learned so many things and got so many experiences that for sure I'll keep it forever and the knowledge? I am using it now at my University life and also will keep using it till the day I have 8 videos published while working with them but the one that I put here is my favorite and one of the craziest thing I have done in my life.
