MULTIMEDIA: THE PRESIDENT
I still remember the day when Madam Azleen texted everyone in the WhatsApp group when she asked about who wants to be the president of the club. At first, I didn't want to be the president because I wanted to stay lowkey but I don't know why suddenly when so many people gave their name I felt like I also needed to give mine. I have experience in Multimedia where I edited explainer videos for Malaysian Trades Union Congress (MTUC) and Malaysian Airport SDN BHD. I also worked once with Astro Gempak for a video and also ML Studio. So I believe that I have a lot of experience compared to other people. The day when they did the online voting, no word can describe how nervous I am. The other 5 people that compete with me also have incredible backgrounds that are related to Multimedia. But alhamdulillah, I get the majority votes, and it's official I am the first-ever president for the Multimedia club in UiTM foundation.
MY MULTIMEDIA BABIES

As the president of the club, I know that I have to do a lot of activities. If you know me, you will know how the type of leader I am. I don't want to be that lame leader that always thinks he was right. Because of the Covid-19, we cannot do our club meeting face to face so we can only do our weekly meeting through Google Meet. However, there is one week where I asked Madam Azleen if we can do the meeting face to face and alhamdulillah she approved it and we met at Dengkil. No word can describe how happy I am when I can finally meet them in real life. Even though we are not that close but still we are always together in WhatsApp group chat talking about anything that is related to Multimedia. I am comfortable with them and I can feel that the same goes for them. Even the profile picture of the official group is the picture of me. If any of you guys are reading this I just want to let you know that thank you so much because you guys trust me as a leader and I am so sorry if I didn't be the leader that you guys wish for but I just want to let you know that I try my best. Thank you for everything.
THE ACTIVITIES

The first activity that I organized for my club was video editing. I still remember I was at Dahlia cafe that day just because I wanted a strong internet connection. I met some of the club members there in Dahlia and we decided to join Google meet together. I still remember that it was a fun session because everyone learned so many things and at the end of the session everyone shares their video and at that time I felt like a proud dad because they did a great job.
We did poster editing for the next week and this time I asked my vice president to handle the Google Meet because he is the expert in editing posters. We also asked a few of our club members to show their posters. At the end of the meeting, we asked everyone to submit their poster because we want to choose one winner and give a presentation. All 50 members submitted their poster and I felt so happy because everyone participated and they took it seriously.
The only day where we do face to face meetings. I still remember how excited I am that day. Even though not everyone was there because some of them were at home because of the MUET test, I am still happy because I can meet them in real life. On that day we did video shooting around the Dengkil campus. We separated everyone into 5 groups and they can do whatever style of video that they want to. It was fun because everyone was so excited and I have been told by Madam Azleen that we were the only club that gets approval to do face to face meetings. In the end, all 5 groups submitted their video and their video was broadcast at the UiTM Dengkil campus. Everyone was so happy because everyone in UiTM can watch their video and I am so proud of them
The finale week. No word can describe how sad I am. It feels too short? I don't know how to describe it, I had so much fun but at the same time, I want more. Last week, we gave and announced the winner of the poster competition. Everyone required to open their camera and I felt so sad because I haven't got a chance to meet some of them in real life. However, it's a great journey and a great ending. I am sad but it is okay because we are going to be at the same club for the next semester. I can't wait to meet them again next semester and I am so excited!
